Questions

What counts as a scan?

A receipt image, screenshot, emailed receipt, pasted receipt, or invoice uses scan capacity. Statement PDFs use one scan for each group of up to 10 pages. A processing attempt can count after it reaches AI even when no record is produced. Typed records do not use scans.

When do limits reset?

Scan and Insight limits reset at the start of each UTC calendar month. Unused capacity does not roll over. When scans run out, you can keep typing records or change plans.

How do billing and cancellation work?

Paid plans are charged in USD and renew automatically each month or year. Cancel in Billing before renewal to stop future charges. Paid processing continues through the current term, then the account returns to Free. Viewing, editing, exporting, and deleting your saved records remains available until you delete them.

Does ExpenseLense replace accounting software?

No. ExpenseLense organizes private spending records and supported original documents. It does not replace bookkeeping, payroll, tax filing, or bank-connected accounting.
