Billing basics
Plans are monthly or annual subscriptions through Stripe. Scan and Insight question capacity resets each month. Manual typing, export, and deletion controls stay available.
What counts as a scan?
Uploaded receipts, invoices, wallet screenshots, emailed receipts, pasted receipt text, statements, and AI category fallback can use scan capacity. Typed records do not.
What happens when scans run out?
Scanning pauses until the next monthly reset or plan change. You can still type records for free.
Do unused scans roll over?
No. Scans and Insight questions reset each monthly billing cycle.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Billing is managed through Stripe. Canceling stops future billing; existing app data stays until you delete it.
Why is pricing in USD while saved records can use other currencies?
Stripe plan pricing is USD. Saved records keep their original currency, including RON, EUR, USD, and others.
What is sent to AI?
Only the content needed for scan extraction, category fallback, or Insight. Saved records remain private to your account.
Does ExpenseLense replace accounting software?
No. ExpenseLense is for private source-backed receipt records, review, export, recurring charges, and Insight. It does not replace full bookkeeping, payroll, tax filing, or bank-connected accounting.
